ALJ follows many procedural guidelines during the repair and manufacturing process to ensure that the control boards we certify are bench tested and guaranteed to work before they are sent to you. We understand that problems may arrise when repairing a machine that might lead to the conclusion that the repaired control board that you just received might still be bad or otherwise not working correctly.

Troubleshooting Tips

  1. 1.      Cycle the power and re-check the wiring. Make sure that the unit has been properly installed and that there are no loose wires or connections. Turn the machine off and on to reset the computer.
  2. 2.      Test the unit in a good machine. If the problem goes away, there may be something else wrong with the machine.
  3. 3.      Check that the computer has been programmed properly by comparing the values to that of a good computer and/or reviewing the programming instructions. Try programming the computer again; this may clear errors, correct programming glitches, and/or clear bad data.

If you find that the issue still has not been resolved, please return the defective board along with the Warranty Return Form back to ALJ for processing:
